Telemeter Distance Scale, for measuring distance using the speed of sound, eg, used by pilots to calculate direction and distance away of thunderstorm. As worn, ‘unofficially’, by Flt Lts Terry Kingsley and Peter Evans of the RAF Red Arrows team during the 1968 London – Sydney Air Race.
